Mike,

first sighting for the season, about 50 WTNTs above Helensburgh (NSW), they were soaring at about 30-100m at a guess and circled the area for about 10 minutes. before heading off to the north. Weather was fine, cool (~22°C) with rolling scattered cumulus, likely formed by uplift due to the escarpment.
