Good question and I'm not sure - but you'd still be buying it in your name but 
just delivered to a different address.  
 
Would that be any different from buying it over in the US while on holiday 
warranty-wise? 
 
(I'm no US warranty law expert - I'm sure there's one on the B-A mailing list 
somewhere though!).
