G'day,

(That's 50km north of Brisbane, Qld.)

Between 5pm and 5.30pm at least, on Friday 16/12, a Kelp Gull was present on the sand bar at Buckley's Hole. I had popped over with Bob James, that incomparable Sunshine Coaster, to see if either Glossy Ibis or Lewin's Rail were present. First bird he saw - "Kelp Gull"! I thought he was suffering from post NZ syndrome but there it was.

Cheers - Trevor.
