Hi Chris,
If you dip at The Rock and decide to go to the Warby's, look for the TPs at
Wenham's clearing. If you can't see it on the map, get back to me and I will
ask Gavin (an ex Wangaratta lad), to dredge up the directions from his memory
bank - I could only remember how to get there if I was driving!
It also may be worth considering going to Cocoparra National Park near
Griffith. Cocoparra is slightly closer to Wagga Wagga than the Warby's and is
also a good spot for TPs - hopefully someone will be able to give you specific
places to look for them there.
Finally, if you still have no luck and if you ever get up to Queensland, I know
a paddock near Girraween National Park (just over the NSW/QLD border) where you
would have a 9 out of 10 chance of seeing them.
Good luck!!
