The reason I'm not going Frank is that Broome is expensive to get to by
plane, like a minimum of $350 each way from Adelaide ( whereas one can often
get Cairns or Perth flights for $120 or so from and to Adelaide) Problem
being that Jetstar don't do a direct Adelaide -Broome flight (not often
anyway) and you have to go to Melbourne (ugh!) or Perth first. Aaand,
Broome is a poisonously expensive destination anyway. The Hoopoe can go
poopoo for mine.

A great bird. I am surprised that so few people have gone for
it. Mike Carter, Rohan Clarke and George Swann are due to return to
Broome from Ashmore on Monday, so I am certain they will go for it,
so there should be further updates.
