Hi. I have photos of a wader found at Kurrimine Beach just north of Mission
Bch. Initially, it seemed like a Greater Sand-Plover but 3 aspects have me
confused - its large size, its large eye and also its beak size. It was by
itself for most of the time but occasionally, a Red-capped Plover would move
close and it seemed dwarfed by the bird in question. (I couldn't get a photo
with both in the same frame).
If you would like to help, please send an email directly to me off-line and
I'll send a couple of the photos.
Thanks
Brian Johnson
