Hello all....I don't spend any time looking for plastic ticks but I do record
introduced species if I believe they are wild. Recently I saw some Helmeted
Guinea-fowl north of Atherton in a field with some Brushturkeys. Does anyone
know if there is a wild population here? I seem to remember someone ticking
birds near Mareeba. I don't tick the ones at Samsonvale Cemetery because they
are artificially sustained (i.e., fed by someone).
Cheers Steve Murray
