I watched today as a Brolga ate an adult cane toad near Toorbul, north of
Brisbane. It seems that any number of birds can eat toads with impunity,
while they are so deadly to mammals and reptiles.

Also today I had 10 Red-necked Avocets at the junction of Toombul Road and
the Gateway Motorway in Brisbane.
