Hi?...I am in Melbourne this weekend and thereafter in the following week
driving to Adelaide via Deniliquin, Hattah-Kulkyne National Park and Gluepot. I
have a number species that I would be keen to see and would appreciate it if
anyone has solid (current) pointers on where to look or could confirm I am in
with a chance with my thoughts below. I will be limited in the locations I can
reach by having only a 2wd.
Plains Wanderer?.aiming to look in the Deniliquin area on Monday night but
could extend my time in that region or northern Victoria to Tuesday to try
elsewhere. Any exact area to focus my efforts on would be of great assistance.
Inland Dotterel
Lashbrook Rd Ostrich?..any recent sightings?
Superb Parrot?.plan to look in Barham Forest and at Pretty Pines
Rufous Fieldwren?.thinking Lake Tyrrell
Elegant Parrot and Slender-Billed Thornbill ?.aiming for the Port Gawler area
Scarlet-chested Parrot??hopefully still about at gluepot
Thanks in advance
