G'day Carol,

It has all of the correct markings and structure for a very young
White-breasted Woodswallow, but the white areas showing as a pale buff
colour would possibly be a problem or are they just coloured tips that wear
off revealing pure white?. Will have to have another think about other
possibles

Cheers Jeff.

Subject: Re: Baby bird ID needed

Hi all

I wondered if anyone has an idea as to which species the brown bird is. It
was picked up in Darwin and taken into care.

Some suggestions, Pheasant Coucal, Dollarbird, Toressian Crow have been
received by the Wildlife carers forum.

They believe the bird to the right of it is a Bar shouldered Dove.

Your help would be appreciated.

Carol Abbott
