I was at Newhaven (360km northwest of Alice Springs) before it opened,
representing the RAOU when the Federal Minister for the Environment Robert
Hill unveiled a plaque. As we stood among the red rocks surrounded by
spinifex, listening to the speeches, we could also hear a chorus of Brown
Quail on all sides!
