Good afternoon everyone.

On Sunday Simon Mustoe put up
a post about WHAT ARE YOUR TOP 10 AUSTRALIAN BIRDING SITES? as an open
question to this site and I would have to say that I am extremely
disappointed in the response that was posted soon after. I for one post onto
this site to let people have a close look at birds photographed in the wild
and I am very grateful to Russell, for allowing me to do this.

And "shock horror" it is also good traffic for my website, but it is also a
service that costs no one on this forum anything. I believe that Simon is
only doing exactly the same, as he provides a service to the birding
community, mainly for his love of birding. What I am trying to say is that
we need people like Simon Mustoe and others who have put untold hours into
forming a site that is interactive for birdo's and has photos, maps etc on
his site and encourages people on this forum to make comment on a range of
issues, so please stop the sarcastic remarks!

Kindest Regards

Geoff Jones
