Thu 21 Jul Crimson Rosella Murdoch University, Perth, Western Australia
I saw this bird feeding alongside a Ringnecks at Murdoch University. I took a photo as I have seen a lot of birds, coming from a semi rural area and had NEVER seen one like this in Western Australia. From research on the net it looks like it might be a Crimson Rosella which are not supposed to be present here in the west.
Frances DeRousie

A 3-whiteface day: 2 Chestnut-breasted at Mt Lyndhurst, 7 Banded Whiteface (actively foraging) in the white sand dunes, and 2 Southern Whiteface at one of the many creek crossings.
