Spent a couple of hours this morning at Sheep Station Creek Environmental Park
SW of Caboolture. This site has had Swift Parrot in recent years so is worthy
of a winter visit .Alas, none seen today, with not many eucs. in blossom.
However was rewarded with a small flock (6) of Musk Lorikeet, as well as the
usual Rainbow and Scaly-breasted. The resident Fuscous Honeyeaters were there
along with Lewin's (of course), Scarlet,Little Wattlebird, Noisy and Little
Friarbirds.
    Crested Shrike-tit was a bonus, as were 3 White-bellied Cuckoo-shrike, but
best bird was a single Painted Button-quail seen briefly ahead of me on a
narrow path in dappled light.
