Hi Tim,

They are also seen regularly in small numbers at Riverglade Reserve in
Hunters Hill, especially in vegetated areas along Tarban Creek.

Riverglade Reserve is a short walk (15 mins) from the Henley Point Ferry
Wharf at Gladesville. The ferry journey from Sydney's Circular Quay to
Henley Point Wharf is about 20 min.

Cheers,
Stephen Ambrose

Tim,

I saw them regularly around The Mater Hospital, St. Leonards, Sydney,
about 4 years ago. They are also regulars around the bottom car-park
area at Kanwal Medical Centre, Pacific Hwy., Kanwal, on the NSW
Central Coast.

Cheers,

Carl Clifford

PS Thanks for the Trush offer. We will give you our Red-whiskered
Bulbul gratis, as long as you take our Common Miners as well.

Hi all, and Sydneysiders.

A friend of mine is heading to Sydney, and is interested in tracking
down Red-whiskered Bulbul. Is there a reliable location in Sydney?
Also any sites close to the CBD?

It now seems that one thing sunny NSW has over Victoria is RW Bulbul.
Recent records in Vic are virtually nil. Perhaps there's room for Song
Thrush / Bulbul exchange! [For the record, said with tongue firmly
plant in cheek.]

Cheers,

Tim
