Dear Shirley,

Any thoughts of having the Visitors Centre put your brochure on their web site? I notice that they have a page for fishing locations, why not birding? I am sure more birding visitors would be attracted to the Armidale area, if the could do a bit of on-line research beforehand. Perhaps if members of the list were to email the VC and ask them if they had any on-line information on birding sites, they might come to the party.

Regards,

Carl Clifford

Dear Judith

Firstly, pick up "our" birdwatching brochure from the Visitors Information Centre.

Secondly, the Armidale birdwatching group's regular monthly outing will be on this Sunday. We meet in the carpark of the Visitors Information Centre for 8:00 am departure and we will be going to the Imbota Nature Reserve, fairly close to Armidale. It is normally a morning's outing, and we take morning tea for a convivial sit-around and chat, but you can extend your outing to a full day using the information in the bird brochure.

We have no shortage of "experts" here so the local knowledge is profound.

Hope to see you then,

Regards
Shirley
