Hi all,
There was a much-watched White-fronted Honeyeater that turned up at Newport
Lakes Park around 10 clicks south-west of Melbourne in 2007. It was first seen
on 9th April that year and last reported I think on 29th April. It seems the
species has a propensity for ranging widely and then enjoying the change of
scene for a while, if the Melbourne, Canberra and Brisbane birds are anything
to go by.
On a slightly different topic, please can we have more reports like David
Kowalick's recent inland jaunt. Gold.
