After a failed attempt in the rain this morning I went back this afternoon for
another crack at the white fronted honeyeater. Had a fantastic half an hour
watching one very hyperactive bird chasing all others from its favorite tree,
and feeding in the blossoms. A number of times the bird flew down to some low
flowers giving me some fabulous views. Seems like an amazing find for Brisbane
so thanks to Collin for posting! John Hammond.
