G'day all
 
For what it's worth, I too have recorded Spotted Bowerbird at Sundown NP - I 
had 1 bird there in April 2010. This is also my most easterly record in SEQ.
 
The Hunter Wineries area however, is much closer to the east coast than Sundown 
NP & importantly, is east of the Great Divide - hence the appeal of the Hunter, 
where as Mick Roderick says, a great many western slope species can be seen in 
this region in close proximity to the east coast.
