I had a bit of time to spare yesterday so I sat down to write something I've
been meaning to for a couple of weeks now. Black Swans have featured in the
media three times since then ... and the history of Black Swan references in
culture goes back to the first century AD!

Don't forget to follow Bird-O on Facebook / Twitter. We'll keep posting on
Birding-aus as long as we can but the bulk of content still goes out through
the social networks.
There are articles coming up on raptor migration in the US and Hummingbirds, as
well as a video piece on the Port Fairy pelagics. There's also Mark Carter's
hilarious piece on sewage farms in Alice.
Have a nice weekend,
Simon.
