Dear birding-aussers

My sister Charlotte was in West Wyalong yesterday 20th March midday having a
picnic in a park in the middle of town. A flock of about 30 Major Mitchells
suddenly erupted out of the tree over their heads, and flew to another
nearby tree, settled and were quiet again. This seems an unusual number of
MMs to be in the middle of a town ?? She knows MMs well, since her husband
keeps 2 in an aviary.
