Just to confirm Denise's comments re this subspecies in NT.
I just checked the Leanyer/Lee Point, Darwin records, which are continual records from 1974. First record of affinis is in November 1978, thereafter, they occur each year. (Records ceased at end of 1986.) Although principally seen during the wet season months, there were also some records in July and August.
