To all birders in the Mid West and Wheatbelt

President of Birds Australia Alison Russell-French will be giving a
presentation at a special sundowner on Saturday March 12 at the WA Museum
Geraldton. This is a unique and unexpected opportunity to speak with the
head of our national association - one which not only finances and conducts
some of the research vital to bird conservation and protection, but one
which advises governments at home and abroad on policies to guard their
habitat. Not only that, but Alison herself is involved with international
efforts to conserve and protect the Asia-Pacific flyways and a host of other
projects.

I urge as many of you as possible to come along at 6pm on that evening to
hear what Alison has to say and enjoy the rare opportunity to give her some
feedback on what is happening in your neck of the woods.
