Steve,

The main ponds on Ash Island are currently closed due to the maintenance of a
bridge over a tidal creek along Ramsar Road. Access once this is finished is
something that local birders are currently discussing with the new land
managers
on the island (NPWS). I will advise as things progress.

Some people have been able to get through for various surveys etc and there
have
been no reports of Yellow Wags this year.

Mick

Hello all. I  haven't seen any references to Ash Island for a while. Are
there any problems with access this summer?  If it is open my next question
would be: have there been any sightings of Wagtails this summer?

Cheers Steve Murray
