Hi Birders,

Having a relaxed family hol based out of Bermagui , NSW south coast after Xmas.

I'd welcome any tips on finding Channel-billed Cuckoos ( any hotspots at
present ?),

I've been to the area a couple of times, but only done a tiny bit of birding.
Are there any particular sites in the forests nearby people could recommend.
Spotted Quail-thrush would be nice, and any sites worth spotlighting for
arboreal animals and forest Owls.

I may head up to Jervis Bay to look for Eastern Bristlebird..... would there be
any sites closer to Bermagui, even if they are just a chance, I'd happily give
it a try.

Finally I might head north in search of Rock Warbler. What would be the
southernmost site where they are a good chance ?

Many many thanks,

Simon Starr,

Pyramid Hill,
Northern Vic.
