I think she actually first laid eggs without there being a male with her so 
they were sterile but subsequently they did breed from her and some of her 
progeny are still at Healesville I believe. They were all normal colouration.

Yes indeed. (I used to work as a volunteer at Healesville so knew him/her 
well). I seem to recall that Albi was believed to be a male until a male was 
introduced into the enclosure after a number of years and Albi then laid eggs - 
not sure if they hatched or not as I had left by then.

Sanctuary
