Spotless Crake
Ilparpa Swamp
Two Spotless Crake feeding and contact calling at dusk on edge of Reedbeds just 50m from roadside.
Whole swamp is alive with waterbirds right now. Many Buff-banded Rail & waders.
Also 100+ Plumed Whistling-Ducks flying in to roost flushed 2 Lathams(?) Snipe.

Spotless Crake
Glen Helen Road 23 31S 132 16E
Along Reeds at Western End of Glen Helen Resort. Very Secretive, saw twice. Believed to be way out ofits range, however, with the amount of water in the centre, I am not too surprised
