Hi Folks,
Further to Jim's note about Blue-faced Parrot-Finches, they are no
longer at the location they were seen at a month ago, they are now being
seen on Mt. Lewis at the 10km clearing and the track to the old tin
miners dam. They are still in small numbers with 4 being the maximum,
three were seen yesterday 2nd December.

overhanging Perseverance Road in Julatten, North Queensland. I went there with
him and Kay Parkin the next day and they appeared again, eating the bamboo
seeds. There were only a few, along with a small group of Red-browed Finches.
George Chapman saw them there even more recently. Nice to see such a
hard-to-find species out in the open.
