Rose-ringed Parakeets have indeed gone feral many places in Europe: They
have become far too common many places in Britain, there are thousands in
the Netherlands too and one can meet them in downtown Amsterdam. They are
also common in Köln (Cologne) and along the Rhine towards Bonn in Germany,
and to my great surprise I also found them to be common in Sevilla, Spain,
during my amphipod conference there in September All reason to view them
with great mistrust in Australia, where you have so many great parrots of
your own!
