Thanks for your thoughts so far - i don't think I'll get up the standard of
this piece from the Guardian - lovely pix, particularly of my favourite TV
copper Trudie Goodwin, who played Sgt June Ackland in *The Bill* - but it is
a lovely example of the genre... have a look here:
