Dear All,

For the last few weeks I have an adult and a juvenile Pied Currawong hanging around our yard. In the last week, while I have been working in my shed with music playing, the adult has come in quite close to the shed ( within 2-3m) and appeared to be interested in the music, cocking its head from side to side while peering into the door. Both times it has been there for 5-10 minutes, The music both times was Galician bagpipe music. I play a fairly eclectic mix of music while I am working, from Blue Oyster Cult to Bach. Why the bird was interested in the Galician bagpies above the other types of music, I don't know, as it has been foraging around the back yard while I have played other music and it has not paid any interest.

Most peculiar.

Cheers,

Carl Clifford
