Sat 30 Oct Black-fronted Dotterel St Helens, Tasmania
2 flying along channel near Colchis Creek bridge adjacent to local sewerage ponds.

Fri 29 Oct Swift Parrot Hobart (city centre)
Two birds seen departing an exotic tree on the corner of Fitzroy Pl and Byron St. More heard in flowering blue gum across the road, next to Anglesea Barracks..

Sat 23 Oct White Goshawk St Helens, West St
Observed 1, probable male by smaller size, pursued by 2 Forest Ravens flying south above canopies of tall open Tas Blue Gum forest in partially cleared land, then flying out of sight south across Medea Swamp. Two days later a friend reported a probable female also flying west above Medea Swamp near St Helens rubbish dump. Possibly we have a pair in the rubbish dump/cemetery area.
