Hi all, Early last month I posted an RFI for Adelaide with a promise
to post private replies back to the list.
Sadly, I accidentally deleted all but two replies, copied below. thanks
to all who replied, and apologies for the delay in reposting.
Teh trip was lovely, Adelaide and the Fleurieu Peninsula green and
beautiful, but I really had not time to look at birds except what landed
near us. Such are holidays with 7 other people. The time with them was
more important anyway.
As for info, Steve Potter posted:
Please check Birds SA for SA info. http://www.birdssa.asn.au/
Alan McBride and Steve both mentioned this site:
Peter Waanders Site. http://www.sabirding.com/sites-6.htm
(several people mentioned these sites, as I recall).
As for all the other info, all I can recall was that a few mentioned the
Kaiser something Conservation Park in the lower Borossa, but apparently
one of the longer walks is closed off, though most species still
findable elsewhere.
After all the rain of late, the area is gorgeous. And Adelaide is a
lovely city to boot. Highly recommended.
Cheers
