 Hi

Two of us ventured to Mordialloc pier this morning [10.30am] in the drizzling rain to look for the well publicised terns.

There was almost no human activity on the beach allowing two large flocks of terns to rest peacefully on the beach, one quite near the pier[site 1] and another further along the beach[site 2].

There were two non-crested terns at site two, one resting well away from the flock. This tern seemed quite similar to the one pictured in recent postings.

I can send 'reasonable' pics of each to anyone interested and would welcome any confirmation or rejection as the arctic.
