Hi,
I've just posted (see link above) about 70 bird photos and about 25 bird videos
taken during a week in Tweed Heads.
The sites visited were mostly ones I'd been to before (Terranora Broadwater,
Minjungbal Reserve, Letitia Sandspit, Vintage Lakes and Banora Green) but I
added Cabarita Beach which is to the south of Tweed Heads. Lots of birds were
breeding including Willie Wagtail, Magpie Lark and Striped Honeyeater all with
nests in one small tree.

The species with photographs/video include Pacific Black Duck, Darter, Little
Wattlebird, White-breasted Woodswallow, Emerald Dove, Torresian Crow, Pied
Butcherbird, Little Egret, Grey Butcherbird, Blue-faced Honeyeater, Buff-banded
Rail, Dusky Moorhen, Comb-crested Jacana, Bar-tailed Godwit, Brown Honeyeater,
Osprey, Little Friarbird, Noisy Friarbird, Red-backed Fairy-wren, Olive-backed
Oriole, Willie Wagtail, Purple Swamphen, Striped Honeyeater, Pied Currawong,
Spotted Dove, Crested Tern, Collared Kingfisher, Lewin's Honeyeater, Magpie
Lark, White Ibis and Royal Spoonbill.

Before the Tweed Heads pictures are photos of birds taken during a recent trip
to the Western Treatment Plant. The species incude Zebra Finch, Hoary-headed
Grebe, Yellow-Billed Spoonbill, Little Black Cormorant, Welcome Swallow, Dusky
Woodswallow, Superb Fairy-wren, Golden-headed Cisticola, White-fronted Chat,
Black-winged Stilt, Whistling Kite, Galah, Black-shoulderd Kite, Black Swan,
Red-capped Plover, Musk Duck, Curlew Sandpiper and Chestnut Teal.

All the best

Nick
