Hi all, A couple of weekends ago Andy Jensen and I headed out to the Lockyer Valley near Brisbane and had a great morning's birding. Our highlights were two very confiding groups of Ground Cuckoo-shrikes, 7 (!) Black Falcons including a family party of 5 birds all together, a total of 11 raptor species, and a grand total of 119 species for the day. While we had hoped to catch the return of the waders we sadly were still too early and didn't see any migratorys shorebirds, not even a single Sharpie! Anyway, I have put some of my better photos up on Wildiaries at http://aussiebirding.wildiaries.com/trips/10294 Regards, Chris Sanderson =============================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: http://birding-aus.org =============================== |
