Late yesterday afternoon (20th Sept), heard my first Black-faced Monarch for the season at the Scenic World boardwalk in the Jamison Valley, Katoomba NSW. I was down there from pre-dawn yesterday but it didn't call in the morning, so perhaps only arrived during the day.

Cheers,

Carol
