Sites are always a problem when insuffient info posted. This has come up so
many times on birding-aus over the years.

Problem exists on many Eremaea Bird weekly reports making the information
useless to all except, maybe locals. In this case it did mention Gold Coast, so there was a clue. Its up to each of us to give info so that others may benefit.

Perhaps Eremaea site could ask for this information? Currently such reports without full location info are basically useless to most of the birding comunity.

The Birdpedia Weekly Digest does have complete location information
(at least all the information that was entered by the poster).
Information is: STATE, Location (brief description of where it was sighted),
detail (often contains further info regarding location).
There is a spot for GPS readings but hardly anyone uses it, but there if really needed.

Because it is a digest all a reader has to do is go to the original reference (as displayed) to see all the information and you can contact the poster direct.

On a positive note ONE of SA's Reedy Creek(s) currently has water gushing over its waterfalls and into the Murray River south of Mannam. At least it will get to the lower lakes.
