Today I observed what I believe is a Great Knot in partial breeding plumage Could the group's shore-bird experts take a look and confirm or identify otherwise. http://picasaweb.google.com.au/Roger.Giller/Shorebirds?authkey=Gv1sRgCJXqrpb6jN3LGg# Two images, one with a Bar-tailed Godwit for comparison. Location was Taren Point Shorebird Community site, currently undergoing an upgrade by the Sutherland Shire Council. Thanks.
