Hi all,The relatively new shopping mall at Rouse Hill has a set of drainage/flood control ponds out the back. Easily accessible with concreted footpaths and plenty of bush all around. On casual strolls through -- not really hunting for anything -- I've seen the usual waterbird suspects, including a white-faced heron, a cormorant, and Australasian grebes (little grebes, but not Little Grebes). Worth a look if you're in the area, and probably better stuff around that I haven't seen.
