Good news gentlemen, Two days ago I sent yet another email to The Birding Shop about my outstanding order, paid for last December but only part completed.. I received a reply almost immediately and the money has been refunded, as a direct transfer to my bank account. The matter was handled by Karen Robinette. She asked me to pass this on to anyone I was aware of in a similar situation. Send an email to with the subject Att: Karen. She also gave me a mobile number, if you have difficulty contacting her by email. Please contact me off-list should you need it. Karen confirmed that the Birding Shop was closing due to medical and personal reasons of the owners.
