Try Gorrie Road, just north of Warloch Ponds for the Northern Shrike-Tit.

Subject: [Norton AntiSpam] [Birding-Aus] NT Birding

Hi All,

I'm heading to Darwin on Saturday and planning to travel down to the
Katherine area over the next week. The plan is basically to look for Hooded
Parrots at Pine Creek, Red Goshawk at Mataranka and Northern Shrike-Tit
everywhere in between and possibly Warloch Ponds, plus Large-tailed Nightjar
at Buffalo Creek and Rufous Owl at the Botanic Gardens.

Does anyone know of any recent good areas for these birds or any other
interesting bird sightings up Darwin way at the moment? Thanks.

Richard King
