Hello Birders

I'm following your amazing reports with great interest from the UK; 16 weeks
until my annual birding visit so it may all have blown over by then. However
one
of your colleagues mentions the Parrots getting as far as Alice. (! Jokingly).
While this would be ideal for a UK visitor only hiring through Avis, are there
any similar events historically that could mean birds getting close enough to
Alice to give a realistic chance?  I have spent a week or so in the area so
know
the general layout - (managed the Grey Honeyeater in a Toyota hire car so I
guess its worth the 'risk' along the easier roads at least.)   I'm fairly
committed to these sort of trips having made 10 visits to date, Lord Howe last
year for instance so any serious info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Matthew Rodgers
