Can anyone tell me if it's common to see skua and albatross off the coast
of Western Australia near Kalbarri - I was on a whale watching trip there a
couple of weeks ago and saw both.

I had always imagined them to be found in more southerly regions and never
dreamed of seeing them close to shore this far north.

Is they regular visitors to these waters?

>From my own photos and resources I am almost certain there was a juvenile
yellow-nosed albatross and a brown (Australian?) skua as well as adult and
juvenile Australian gannets.

Happy birding
