Birdline NT
Published sightings for the week ending 16 May 2010.
Mon 10 May Little Stint Lee Point
Visited Lee Point to check record made on Saturday. Within a flock of
350-400 Greater & Lesser Sand Plover there were 3 stints. Two foraged
together; one with pre-breeding plumage most definitely a Red-necked
Stint. The remaining stint was smaller and more speckled than the RN
Stint and did not associate with the RN Stints despite crossing paths
(1). Had good views on the reef and then the beach for over an hour.
