I noticed this weird behaviour at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Sydney - Sulphur crested cockatoos were digging quite straight furrows in the ground with their bills, in the soil directly under the canopy of a fig tree. I couldn't see them extracting anything from the soils such as grubs or anything.
