Hi there,

Recently I saw the thread about rainbow lorikeet roosts.  I am currently doing
an honours project on rainbow lorikeet roosting, I wondered if anyone has any
information they could pass on.  Specifically, I'm looking for information on
their natural roost habits (i.e. not urban roosting) as I can only find a
couple of journal articles on it. I have the details of several large roost
sites in Sydney (we're talking hundreds of birds) but I wondered if anyone
knows if they do this sort of en masse roosting in more natural habitats (e.g.
forest), or is a peculiarly urban thing?

Thank you
Alison
