Just to add to Paul walbridge's email, if anyone would like a spreadsheet of
what has been seen on previious March trips - please let me know. March is
often the best month off Southport with an excellent diversity of species
particualrly petrels.

The weather conditions are also looking ideal - with calm conditions forecast
for the weekend (1m swell and 10kt winds) - these conditions have been preceded
by good SE winds and a cyclone up north. We could be on for another spectacular
day (last month we had multiple Gould's, Black-winged, White-necked and Tahiti
Petrels + Kermadec and Great-winged Petrels, Lesser Frigatebirds, White-tailed
Tropicbird and Sooty Terns.

Other species recorded in March include White-headed and Herald Petrels, Masked
Booby and White Tern. There have also been a couple of White-bellied
Storm-Petrels off the east Coast recently and this has to be a possibility.

If you've always wanted to see some of these amazing species, please contact
Paul to fill the last few spaces.
