Hi all,

Andy Jensen kindly showed me around Kedron Brook wetland this afternoon. I
had two target birds, Swamp Harrier and Common Sandpiper and we found both
quite easily. The Swamp Harriers are cruising around the area off Toombul
Rd, where the Grass Owls were being seen. The Common Sandpipers (there were
4 of them, some in half breeding plumage) were along the creekline at the
back of the wetland, where the cycle path is, towards the Nudgee Beach end.
Common Sands are not easy to find in Brisbane so it was nice to catch up
with them so easily today. We didn't hang around for the Grass Owls due to
poor weather.

Regards,
Chris
