A two-hour seawatch late this afternoon from Point Cartwright on the
Sunshine Coast was notable for the good number of jaegers seen - at least 3
Arctic and 7 Pomarine Jaegers, as well as quite a few that were too far off
to identify. They were bothering the large numbers of Crested and Common
Terns that were about, with a smattering of Common Noddies and White-winged
and Little Terns. At least two Flesh-footed were among the many Wedgetailed
Shearwaters seen. A pair of Sooty Oystercatchers were on the rocks. There
was no sign of the Bridled and Sooty Terns seen recently further north from
Point Arkwright.
